Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Butler Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist registered nurses in the direct care of patients, focusing on activities of daily living.
  • Provide a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation, monitoring, and interacting with patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in group activities and provide support to patients with mental health needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience.
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • C.N.A. certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active C.N.A. license.
  • 20/40 Part Time Nights schedule, with every other weekend.
