Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Operations: Oversees the production operations on assigned shift, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Work Scheduling: Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations and optimal resource allocation.
  • Process Knowledge: Maintains knowledge of production processes and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality Control: Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and stocked correctly, meeting quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoots issues that arise, notifying maintenance department of equipment problems and implementing corrective actions.
  • Employee Management: Trains and manages employees on the assigned shift, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations and issuing disciplinary action when warranted.
  • Workflow Management: Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Production Operations Expertise: Thorough understanding of production operations and machinery, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes.
