We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at SSM Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement care for adult patients in the Interventional Radiology department
- Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care
- Perform various tasks as a circulator, scrub, or monitor on the Interventional Radiology procedure team
- Administer medications to patients, including critically ill patients, and report any abnormal information to physicians in a timely manner
- Provide education to patients and families based on assessed needs, document education provided, and keep them informed of tests and treatments
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education
- No experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment
