We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at SSM Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement care for adult patients in the Interventional Radiology department, ensuring quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner.
- Perform various roles on the Interventional Radiology procedure team, including circulator, scrub, and monitor.
- Administer medications to patients, including critically ill patients, and report any abnormal information to physicians in a timely manner.
- Provide education to patients and families based on assessed needs, document education provided, and keep them informed of tests and treatments.
- Assist families to the cardiology area or cath lab area by escorting when necessary.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- No experience required.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment.
