Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at SSM Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and coordination of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring that all necessary information and equipment are available.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing other nursing tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the interventional radiology team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, such as ACLS or PALS, may be required depending on the department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
