Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with occasional Saturdays and holidays.


Community Medical Services (CMS) is actively seeking a Substance Use Recovery Counselor to support individuals on their journey to overcome dependencies on opioids and other harmful substances.

Your role will involve leading both individual and group therapy sessions, as well as aiding clients in developing personalized treatment plans and effective coping mechanisms. Your contributions will create a nurturing environment for those ready to embark on their recovery path.

  • Manage and uphold a caseload in accordance with regulatory standards and ratios.
  • Conduct thorough behavioral health evaluations and tailored treatment plans, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and individual client requirements.
  • Collaborate with other recovery and community service providers, engage in case management tasks by sending referrals, and complete necessary documentation to secure services while maintaining chart compliance.
  • Stay informed about new developments in the field of substance use as mandated by specific state licensure.
  • Assist in screening and coordinating primary healthcare services for clients.
Active LCDC, LPC, or LCSW license is required.

  • Previous experience in behavioral health is preferred.
