Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist - CRT to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Respiratory Therapist - CRT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respiratory Care Delivery
    • Administer respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
    • Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Equipment Management
    • Set up, operate, and manage respiratory-related equipment, including mechanical ventilators, NIPPV/CPAP, and High Flow Oxygen devices.
    • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
    • Communicate effectively with patients and families to educate them on respiratory care and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care, minimum of a two-year Associate's Degree.
    • Current State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Thorough knowledge of respiratory care procedures and patient care techniques.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
