Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our growing preclinical team at GC Therapeutics. As a Research Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of internal in vivo studies, including rodent models such as rats and mice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study Execution: Independently execute in vivo studies focused on cell therapy efficacy, safety, and mechanism of action.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct critical analysis and interpret data using software tools like Prism and FlowJo.
  • Data Management: Efficiently manage data entry and analysis, and communicate results to both managers and broader audiences as necessary.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in industry, or master's degree with 2+ years.
  • Animal Handling: Proficient in mouse handling, including compound or cell administration via IV, SC, and PO routes.
  • Technical Skills: Experienced in IV, retro-orbital, and saphenous vein blood collection, necropsy, and ex vivo sample preparation.
  • Project Management: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Communication: Effective communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Surgical Experience: Terminal and survival surgical experience in rodent models is a plus.
  • Stem Cell Differentiation: Practical familiarity with stem cell differentiation protocols.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to conduct high-quality presentations at internal meetings.
