Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Valdoro Mountain Lodge. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and owners, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Welcome and register guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Respond to Guest Requests: Respond promptly to guest requests, resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reservations and Invoicing: Assist guests with reservations, changes, and cancellations, and generate invoices and collect payments as needed.
  • Safety Deposit Boxes and Housekeeping: Maintain safety deposit boxes and receive and process housekeeping and maintenance requests.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues to complete checklists and daily duties, and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
  • Education: High School Graduate.
  • Language Skills: Proficient English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multi-task responsibilities and prioritize tasks, and flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice.
