Job Summary

IM Autohaus is seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair department, you will be responsible for examining damaged vehicles, assisting in repair planning, and performing quality repairs according to manufacturer procedures and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine damaged vehicles and assist in the repair planning process during disassembly
  • Assist in the decision on repair vs. replace considering safety, OEM standards, and company guidelines
  • Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status
  • Perform quality repairs while utilizing manufacturer repair procedures
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to the vehicle
  • Repair damage according to manufacturer procedures and company standards
  • Properly mask and protect any areas adjacent to panel(s) to be repaired or replaced
  • Mask any body openings during the repair process to ensure the vehicle remains clean and unaffected
  • Wrap and store parts on carts and/or overhead storage areas to eliminate potential damage and unnecessary cost

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Must have own tools
  • Must have a valid driver's license
