Compensation

We offer an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of $40-45/hour, depending on location and experience. This rate reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.


Job Description

As a Hospice RN, you will perform initial nursing assessments on new admissions, develop and maintain individualized patient care progress records, and educate families on patient condition, needs, and care. You will also make referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed and document rationale for not doing so.


Responsibilities
  • Perform initial nursing assessments on new admissions.
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized patient care progress records with accuracy, timeliness, and according to care center policies.
  • Educate families on patient condition, needs, and care.
  • Makes referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed, or documents rationale for not doing so.

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have a current RN license specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work, one year of nursing experience preferred, and current CPR certification. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance are also required.
