About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for providing holistic care to individuals facing end-of-life challenges. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively within a team environment, and demonstrate empathy and understanding in their interactions with patients and their loved ones.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, patient, family, and attending physician.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, referral sources, and prospective clients regarding hospice services and admission criteria.
  • Promote a seamless transition of care by maintaining open lines of communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Ongoing certification in basic life support is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues, patients, and families.
  • Able to accommodate diverse cultural and faith backgrounds of patients and families.
  • Flexible and willing to travel to various work locations during the workday.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver's license, and adequate insurance coverage are essential.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes a competitive base salary, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
