Job Title: Legal Immigration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Legal Immigration Specialist to join our team at The UpTeam Consultants in Austin, Texas. Our team is committed to providing exceptional immigration services to our clients, and we are looking for a professional who shares our passion and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, handle phone traffic, and client communications.
  • Conduct preliminary claim investigations, legal research, and initial case evaluations.
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents with the court.
  • Execute administrative tasks such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.
  • Maintain indexes for pleadings and discovery.
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
  • Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
  • Collect relevant information from various sources.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a receptionist or front desk manager, preferably in an immigration or family law firm.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, and practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer and database management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Benefits:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Competitive salary range: $45,000-$55,000, dependent on experience.
  • Benefits package includes vacation leave, personal time, sick leave, health, vision, dental insurance after 60 days, 401(k) matching, reimbursed mileage, opportunities for professional development, and an annual bonus.
