Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Wabash. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing business improvement projects and processes for trailer manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess process capabilities and prioritize process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements on commercial products, applying technical knowledge and innovation.
- Plan, organize, and conduct technical reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements.
- Develop and maintain qualified production lines, ensuring high-quality products.
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.
- Contribute to lean reviews and line side meetings to drive continuous improvement.
- Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety standards and procedures.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement, ensuring employees are trained and empowered to do their work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and AutoCAD or Solid Works.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training a plus.
- Leadership and planning skills, with the ability to think ahead and prepare action plans.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP required.
