Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Wabash National Corporation. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in the manufacture of carbon/stainless steel and aluminum products and subassemblies. Your attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work will be essential in upholding our production standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including welding, cutting, and shaping metal products.
  • Read and interpret engineering prints, weld symbols, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, and perform basic operator preventative maintenance.
  • Work at heights of 15-20 ft. and maneuver in tight and small spaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must pass Weld Tests associated with product line, prior to welding in production.
  • Must pass respirator fit test.
  • Basic reading, writing, math & verbal skill.
  • Capable of following and understanding engineering prints, specifications & instructions.
