Child & Family Focus, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Masters Level Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Recovery Oriented Counselor team, you will provide direct services to individuals, families, and groups through an evidence-based Coordinated Specialty Care program.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer assessments for intake and outcome measures, including Quality of Life, Cognitive Functioning, Differential Diagnosis, and functional assessments related to community integration.
- Create, maintain, update, and implement treatment plans according to the needs of the young people.
- Provide psychoeducation to young people and their families related to psychosis in an individual and/or group format.
- Coordinate care by collaborating with FEP team members and multidisciplinary professionals to provide and facilitate care in accordance with policies and procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the Program Model and of Child and Family Focus.
- Empower young people to set and achieve recovery goals and empower young people to increase self-advocacy.
- Provide program outreach to the community to decrease the duration of untreated psychosis and to stimulate referral sources.
- Implement the 5 core values of Trauma-Informed Care in all work practices - Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, & Empowerment.
- Master's Degree in Human Service or related field including psychology, counseling, or social work.
- Two or more years of experience in the Mental Health field.
- Completion of 16 hour TFCBT online training.
- Current child abuse, criminal, and DPW FBI clearances.
- Maintain valid driver's license and insurance.
- Competitive Salary range of $48,000-50,000.
