About the Role

The Audiology position at ENT Partners is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients with various ear and hearing issues, as well as supporting internal and external healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Administer hearing tests and conduct examinations to collect information on impairment type and degree.
  • Evaluate hearing and balance disorders to determine diagnoses and treatment courses.
  • Maintain accurate patient records throughout the evaluation and treatment process.
  • Fabricate, fit, and repair assistive devices such as hearing aids.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for patients' hearing or balance problems, consulting with relevant healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Counsel and instruct patients and their families on techniques to enhance hearing and communication related to hearing loss.
  • Monitor patients' progress and provide ongoing observation of hearing health.
  • Instruct patients in communication strategies to maximize effective receptive communication.
  • Recommend assistive devices based on patients' needs or impairment nature.
  • Refer patients to additional medical or educational services when necessary.
  • Educate and supervise audiology students and healthcare personnel.
  • Establish and oversee hearing screening programs.
  • Examine and clean patients' ear canals.
