The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Director II to identify and develop new sales opportunities, provide product solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company.

This role involves introducing company products and services to new and existing customers, implementing strategic and tactical sales account plans, and developing accurate sales and revenue forecasts.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage relationships with acquired and existing customers to gain strategic positioning with decision-makers, attain additional business, and retain existing revenue.
  2. Develop action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company.
  3. Identify, bid on, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas.
  4. Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and existing accounts.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of the company's entire product suite and provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnels of identified and proposed opportunities.
  6. Provide input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customer's organization and make recommendations about future courses of action necessary for the company to improve its position with the customer.
What We Look For in a Candidate

We're looking for a self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of industry sales experience
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
