REPORTS TO: Level II School Psychologists, Director, Executive Director of Student Support Services, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent.

JOB GOAL: To enhance educational experiences and foster the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of all students.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assessment and Analysis

Evaluates and identifies the learning, developmental, and adjustment needs of individuals and groups, along with the environmental influences impacting their learning and adaptation. Utilizes assessment information to formulate suitable interventions and programs.

Direct Student Support
Implements interventions for students to aid the educational process and optimize learning and adaptation.

Consultation and Training
Offers guidance to parents, educators, other school staff, and community organizations to improve student learning and adjustment.

Program Development
Contributes to the planning, development, and assessment of programs tailored to meet identified learning and adjustment requirements.

Implementation of Psychological Services
Administers a structured and coordinated program of psychological services.

Professional Practice and Growth
Adheres to ethical standards and professional practices in delivering school psychological services while complying with relevant laws and policies. Engages in professional organizations and continuously seeks to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Effectively communicates with students, parents, and educational staff.

Acts as a collaborative team member and role model for colleagues within the organization; demonstrates a commitment to ongoing quality improvement; supports and embodies the organization's core values of care, respect, integrity, responsibility, high expectations, customer focus, and appreciation for diversity.

Undertakes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and community leaders.

Must have manual dexterity and be capable of performing essential life operational functions such as kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
