This role is situated within the Department of Parks & Recreation, focusing on providing essential administrative assistance to the Public Safety Program. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, delivering a range of administrative, technical, and analytical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will be responsible for:

  • Offering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing assignments effectively.
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills and effective time management.
  • Collaborating as a dependable team member to support operational needs.

This position is vital in facilitating the Public Safety Operations at one of the state's prominent off-highway vehicle recreation areas.

Work Schedule

The role may require up to 1500 hours of work annually, distributed over a 12-month period.

Requirements

Candidates must possess:

  • A valid Class C driver's license.
  • A typing certification, with a proctored typing test required.
  • Willingness to undergo a background investigation prior to employment.

Working Environment

The work setting will primarily be an office environment, with:

  • Extended periods of sitting and frequent computer usage.
  • Potential exposure to various environmental factors such as temperature fluctuations and noise.
  • Occasional outdoor work and possible evening or weekend hours.
