About Us:

At Red Wing Shoe Company, we are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. As a Store Manager in Training, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Retail and Industrial Store Manager in the overall operations of the Red Wing Shoe Store
  • Sell profitably and control expenses
  • Manage accounts receivable process
  • Develop new business and manage inventory and merchandising
  • Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and performance management of store staff
  • Assume temporary assignments in market area stores

Requirements:

  • High School Education and 0-2 years related retail experience/training
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft WORD, Outlook, with proficiency in Excel
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Personal credit card for reimbursable expenses

Working Conditions:

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, lacing shoes, and climbing a ladder
  • Responsible for ensuring housekeeping duties
  • Travel to assigned stores within market area and to attend training and business meetings

  • Competitive starting hourly range of $18.53 to $24.12 based on qualifications
  • Strong commission program based on store sales metrics
  • Great retail store hours and a typical workweek of 40 hours
