About the Role

Funko is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Retail Store Associate to join our team at our flagship retail store in downtown Everett, WA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with a unique shopping experience by ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.
  • Replenish merchandise; restocking, clean-up tasks as needed.
  • Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preferences.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to gain sales.
  • Maintain a professional attitude; friendly demeanor.
  • Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures.
  • Handle cash/register for sales transactions.
Requirements
  • One or more years of specialty retail sales experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Customer focus mindset.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
  • Must possess ability to process merchandise through POS register system.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.
  • Possess basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator. Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and busy events around holidays and other events as required.
  • Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customers.
