Key Responsibilities- Develop complex technical written communications for various projects, including marketing tools, technical manuals, and presentations.
- Participate in special projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Prepare work assignments by reviewing delivery schedules, prioritizing tasks, and gathering technical information from relevant sources.
- Verify facts, clarify information, and develop, write, edit, and proof complex assignments for internal customers.
- Ensure company publications meet established standards of style and format.
- Review photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to ensure relevance to content.
- Generate and review text for nontechnical documents upon request.
- Serve as an editing consultant to other staff and suggest format, layout, and graphics for materials reviewed.
- Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
- Produce rough drafts of revised versions and mentor less experienced employees by providing guidance and input on work assignments.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and concerns, respond to complicated inquiries, and participate in or lead projects as assigned.
- Generally requires 4-6 years of work experience.
- University/Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical area.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in technical writing.
- Ability to work in a GMP/regulatory environment.
- Must be able to work with minimal information/direction to get tasks done.
- Experience with data sorting and decision-making.
- Collaboration with a team of engineers.
- Must have experience with Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Experience with writing validations and protocols (using templates).
