Job Summary

Avery Partners seeks a highly skilled Meditech Expanse Implementation Specialist to coordinate and provide technical and integration support for all ancillary clinical applications. This role requires a strong working relationship with the Physician Champion and the provider community within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with MEDITECH's Implementation Team to coordinate resources for integrated trainings, on-site sessions, webinar presentations, and conference calls.
  • Ensure the Organization's Executive Stakeholders and Site Project Lead are informed of all events affecting the timely implementation of their respective applications.
  • Ongoing work with the CIO, Site Project Manager, and other IT Analysts to assure that a consistent approach is followed throughout the implementation.
  • Conduct internal project status meetings with team leads for their respective applications.
  • Review current state workflows and organize and maintain any future state workflow redesign.
  • Develop, utilize, and maintain project management tools to ensure implementation deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary work related to content development, workflow redesign, and integration.
  • Perform risk assessment and management.
  • Conduct and organize pre-implementation and implementation events with MEDITECH.
  • Become familiar with the Medpower education tools that will be used for training respective application end users.
  • Develop knowledge of the key functionalities and integration points.
  • Develop knowledge of MEDITECH reporting tools (Report Designer, Writer, Data Repository, and Business and Clinical Analytics) so that customized reports can be created for supported applications.
  • Facilitate communication between MEDITECH, the site, and any contracted third-party vendors outside of any 3rd party vendors standardly included with the MaaS implementation.
