Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a skilled and courteous Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport North. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

About the Role
  • Guest Registration: Greet and register guests in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed efficiently.
  • Account Management: Close out guest accounts upon completion of their stay, maintaining the highest level of service standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Communication: Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice to understand their needs and respond accordingly.
  • Registration Process: Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information with routine efficiency from our computer system.
  • Telephone Etiquette: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication, handling guest inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Message Management: Input messages into the computer and update guest profiles, retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guest as needed.
  • Package Delivery: Retrieve mail, small packages, and facsimiles for customers as requested.
  • Conflict Resolution: Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions and negotiate results.
  • Problem-Solving: Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems, taking ownership of guest challenges and following through to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least one year of related guest experience, with experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with a team.
  • Judgment: Ability to exercise sound logic and judgment in evaluating situations and utilizing appropriate resources.
  • Self-Directed: Self-directed, motivated, and exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in property management software and Microsoft Office suite products.
