Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients, ensuring radiation safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and screening patients for contraindications.
  • Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner, observing patients' conditions and preparing them for procedures.
  • Prepare MRI scanner and perform quality control tests, administering contrast media as required.
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Participate in department QA and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasonography.
  • One year experience as a Radiology Technologist.
  • ARRT (R) Registered, ARRT (MR) Registered, and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications.
