About the Role

Johnston-Willis Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients, ensuring radiation safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, screening patients for contraindications and administering contrast media as required.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, collect relevant information, and ensure patient safety.
  • Review exams for technical accuracy, identify anatomical orientation, and complete quality control tests.
  • Participate in department QA, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure the bore of the magnet is cleaned as required.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasonography.
  • One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
  • ARRT (R) Registered, ARRT (MR) Registered, and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications.
