About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Screen patients for contraindications and ensure proper use of protective equipment.
  • Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, to ensure accurate and timely image processing.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
  • Prepare examination rooms, maintain inventory, and ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Administer contrast agents and obtain IV access as needed.
  • Verify exam accuracy and complete verification process in PACS.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current licensure as an MRI Technologist or ARMRIT within six months of hire.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a certified MRI technologist.
  • CPR certification.
