About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MRI images of patients, ensuring radiation safety, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, screening patients for contraindications and administering contrast media as required.
- Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner, observing patients' conditions and preparing them for procedures.
- Prepare MRI scanner and perform quality control tests, reviewing each exam for technical accuracy and identifying anatomical orientation on all images.
- Participate in department QA, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring patient safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasonography.
- One year experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- ARRT (R) Registered, ARRT (MR) Registered, and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications.
