Position Overview

We are seeking a Client Support Representative who is self-driven, reliable, and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. A proactive approach and a positive attitude are essential in our dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone and email from a diverse customer base, including sales representatives and individual clients.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding their requirements, order status, and any inquiries to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately process customer orders and engineering releases, ensuring all necessary information is recorded.
  • Coordinate carrier assignments based on customer preferences and company guidelines.
  • Manage OEM account orders and provide updates through customer web portals as needed.
  • Schedule manufacturing for standard parts and manage backlog orders for custom products.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental communication to meet specific customer needs, including modifications and cancellations.
  • Ensure timely electronic acknowledgments of customer orders and manage late shipment notifications.
  • Assist with payment processing and ensure proper documentation for returns and authorizations.
  • Monitor tax compliance for customer orders and update accounting as necessary.
  • Support inventory management and assist with freight quotes and logistics as required.
  • Maintain organized records of open and shipped orders.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in customer service, ideally with 3+ years in a related role.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • A commitment to maintaining focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
