We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietetic and Nutrition Specialist II to join our team at the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION. As a key member of our nutrition services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training to staff and family members on nutrition-related topics
  • Assess the nutritional status of patients using laboratory and anthropometric data
  • Plan and implement special therapeutic menus modified for one or more nutrients and textures
  • Collaborate with the patient's recovery team and project teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Prepare reports and provide quality assessment monitoring of menu and nutrition services activities
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to others as needed
  • Monitor and evaluate programs and services to ensure compliance with departmental and accreditation regulations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical dietitian role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and to communicate complex information to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
