Job Title: Partnership and Implementation Manager

Children's Literacy Initiative (CLI) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partnership and Implementation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our mission to advance equity in public education by ensuring Black and Latinx children achieve reading success by the end of third grade.

Job Summary:

The Partnership and Implementation Manager will be responsible for managing a team of literacy coaches across a portfolio of schools to support the coaching and development of teachers, improving daily instruction and student outcomes. This role will also lead school and system instructional reviews, develop action plans, and serve as the primary point of contact for district and school partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of literacy coaches to support teacher coaching and development
  • Lead school and system instructional reviews to diagnose needs and develop action plans
  • Serve as primary point of contact for district and school partners
  • Manage deliverables and activities within the portfolio
  • Oversee partnership retention and lead contract renewal conversations
  • Support the executive director and regional manager in designing and facilitating regional presentations and training sessions
  • Collaborate with the national content team to refine and develop practical tools and systems for internal staff members
  • Lead and support continuous reflection across the team to determine working challenges and develop solutions
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of education experience in schools serving primarily Black and Latinx children
  • 3+ years as a K-5 language arts teacher in a classroom with predominantly Black and Latinx children
  • 3+ years of coaching and/or instructional leadership experience
  • Strong management skills and ability to develop adults
  • Knowledge of school leadership key levers, decisions, and implications for change management
  • Strong instructional and leadership instincts with a demonstrated record of success in student outcomes and teacher practice results
  • Deep early literacy content and comprehensive knowledge of pedagogy that affirms and sustains Black and Latinx children
  • Deep understanding of approaches to transformational coaching, adult learning, and development that emphasizes equitable and identity-affirming outcomes for educators and leaders
