Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Project Manager to lead strategic business unit projects for our Kingsford/Brita BU. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will provide end-to-end supply chain expertise and leadership to plan and implement comprehensive product change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise and broad business input within brand/category business teams
  • Act as the primary voice of all SC functions within the project team, facilitating communication and coordination of SC functional activities outside of team meetings
  • Develop and recommend an end-to-end supply chain execution strategy that delivers against short and long-term requirements of approved project objectives
  • Be accountable for the successful activation of projects through start of ship and technical transfer
  • Provide leadership to ensure alignment between SBU and SC functional objectives
  • Facilitate functional project reviews and communication plans to impacted supply chain sites and the greater Supply Chain organization
  • Handle Supply Chain implementation of product change concepts
  • Provide Supply Chain linkage and leadership on product changes to ensure appropriate speed to market
  • Support the Supply Chain feasibility process for chartered work
  • Ensure outstanding supply execution, start of production/start of ship for new projects/promotions
  • Act as project manager for some projects, as assigned and depending on size & scope
  • Identify/recommend cost savings opportunities for assigned products/SBU
  • Collaborate with business team members to develop personal capability beyond functional Supply Chain authority into business partner within the team
  • Build partnerships across SC sub-functions to deliver break-through results
  • Work with Supply Chain Integration resources to synchronize project status and priorities across constrained resources
  • Design and implement best practice business processes to ensure effective and efficient use of Supply Chain Solutions resources
  • Act as a role model to ensure effective team dynamics in order to deliver business priorities and induce/engage required resources

Workplace Type:

Hybrid 3 days a week in Alpharetta, GA or Pleasanton, CA or Durham, NC, or Bentonville, AR
