Job Summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Associate II to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to our medical staff, including scheduling appointments, preparing meeting materials, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Transcribe and type correspondence, reports, and other materials with complex scientific and technical terminology.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, greet patients and families, and provide routine information within the scope of knowledge and authority.
  • Maintain departmental files, records, and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment and supply inventory, ordering supplies and requesting repairs as needed.
  • Prepare and route routine administrative forms and documents, communicating with other hospital departments to resolve delays and errors.
  • Provide positive and effective customer service, supporting departmental and hospital operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Analytical skills and judgment to interpret data and take appropriate action
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
