Position Overview

We are expanding our team and seeking skilled security engineers to facilitate our growth. In this position, you will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers, technical program managers, and other security teams to shape the future of Dropbox. Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold and enhance the security standards of Dropbox's infrastructure to safeguard user data.
  • Evaluate the existing and future infrastructure from a security standpoint, providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Implement and manage security infrastructure solutions to scale our security initiatives.
  • Automate security measures through scripting to minimize manual intervention.
  • Formulate security strategies for new infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct structured security risk assessments to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities, offering solutions as needed.
  • Perform security evaluations on third-party vendors and integrations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for infrastructure security incidents.
  • For experienced candidates, opportunities to lead teams and programs are available.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in a security engineering or operations capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more areas of information security, such as authentication systems, security tooling development, network security, and incident response.
  • Technical expertise in adjacent domains like application security, cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and operating systems.
  • Ability to utilize scripting or high-level programming languages for task automation and data manipulation.
  • Proven track record of driving improvements within systems and organizations with a problem-solving focus.
