Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Financial Models: Create standardized financial models to assess cost saving and revenue initiatives, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.
  • Partner with Operating Teams: Collaborate with operating teams to create new and enhance existing KPIs, operating and financial metrics, driving business performance and growth.
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Assess existing pricing strategies across the teams to develop comprehensive pricing matrices, enhancing reporting to track the impact of price adjustments.
  • Business Planning and Analysis: Develop comprehensive business plans, return on investment analysis, and cash flow projections for all Commercial Operations initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Process Improvement and Project Management: Utilize expertise to identify and lead process improvement and revenue generating/cost savings initiatives, ensuring efficient execution of Commercial Operations projects.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish effective communication by setting up meeting cadences with leaders for each area to stay current with business priorities, provide updates on project status and deliverables.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Apply statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis skills to support Commercial Operations department, creating visualizations and dashboards to enhance visibility.
  • Project Management and Execution: Lead and manage project management efforts, ensuring deadlines are met as it relates to deliverables, project financial analysis and inputs.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across Commercial Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 5 years in a business analytics role for a large organization, with experience interacting with senior leadership in various departments across the organization.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel with data querying skills, strong proficiency with Power Point, Hyperion Essbase, and Oracle financial systems, proficient with visualization tools like Tableau and dashboards, VBA, Python, and SQL coding.

  • Self-Starter: Highly analytical and detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work independently as well as with different team members across the entire organization.
  • Organized: Strong verbal and written communication skills, results-oriented, able to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
