Position Title: Rental Coordinator

Role Summary: The Rental Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to all customers, both over the phone and in person, regarding the rental and sale of various pumps and accessories. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, focusing on understanding their equipment needs, facilitating orders, and creating rental agreements with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer equipment rental requirements through targeted inquiries; suggest alternative equipment options based on a comprehensive understanding of available inventory.
  • Process a high volume of equipment orders by gathering customer details, confirming rental specifics, and entering orders into the system; coordinate logistics for delivery and collection.
  • Ensure equipment availability by communicating with the shop and coordinating with other branches as necessary; manage rental contracts, including tracking rental dates and charges.
  • Address customer complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and uphold the company's reputation.
  • Assist in sales and marketing initiatives by making prospecting calls and directing leads to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and monitor inventory and pricing through daily reports.
  • Participate in after-hours and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in diverse outdoor settings.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Dependable and able to follow instructions accurately.
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Forklift certification required within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary; CDL is advantageous.
  • Experience in the rental or pump industry is preferred.
