Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support automated processes to drive improvements in safety, ergonomics, quality, productivity, and cost reductions.
  • Develop procedures, documentation, routings, and other essential materials to streamline the manufacturing process and ensure consistency.
  • Identify opportunities for implementing robotic and automated solutions to enhance manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with vendors to conceptualize, design, size, and quote new automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Lead projects for the implementation of new robotic and automated systems, from conception to execution, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Foster collaboration across departments, engaging with stakeholders at all levels (production to executive) to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline from an accredited college, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience; alternatively, Associate Degree in related field with 7+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing robotic and automated solutions, with advanced programming skills and the ability to handle complex routines.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a knack for higher-level functions.
  • Broad knowledge of engineering and scientific principles, practices, and procedures, applied effectively in practical settings.
  • CAD experience with the ability to conceptualize and design components for automated solutions.
  • Experience with Fanuc robotic programming and/or robotic welding preferred.
