We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Omnicell. As an Automation Pharmacy Technician 4, you will play a critical role in supporting the Autonomous Pharmacy by providing expertise in Omnicell's automation technology and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Management: Manage, maintain, clean, and troubleshoot Omnicell's automation equipment, including robots such as i.v.STATION, IVX Station, IVX Workflow, XR2, PakPlus, and Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
- Documentation and Inventory: Diligently review and update documentation, and manage optimal medication inventory levels.
- Customer Support: Provide on-site support and training for customers, and implement expertise and on-site support for medication assignment and go-live processes.
- Automation Tasks: Operate Omnicell automation at customer sites according to Omnicell SOPs and best practices, perform automation tasks in an aseptic, error-free manner, and follow safe handling procedures for hazardous drugs.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- License/Registration: Active License/Registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
- Certification: Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT); PTCB or ExCPT tests accepted.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License.
- Covid-19 Vaccination: Covid-19 vaccination.
- Pharmacy Automation Experience: Working knowledge of pharmacy automation equipment in a hospital/pharmacy setting (2 years strongly preferred).
- IV Compounding Experience: Working knowledge of IV compounding/sterile environment requirements (1 year strongly preferred).
- Troubleshooting Skills: Troubleshooting skills with automation devices.
- Project Management Experience: Project management/implementation experience.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 100% of the time – available to travel on weekends.
- Weekend Stays: Weekend stays may be required based on project needs.
- Pharmacy Environment: Pharmacy environment.
- Shifts: 8-to-10-hour shifts.
- Working Hours: Working hours may be outside of normal business hours based on business or project needs.
