Position Overview-
As a Senior Project Manager at Jamail & Smith Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects. This position requires a proactive individual who will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all phases from initiation to completion are executed flawlessly. You will be responsible for maintaining project timelines, managing budgets, and upholding the highest quality standards throughout the construction process. Your expertise will be essential in supporting daily operations, facilitating effective communication, and addressing challenges with skill and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities-
- Oversee, plan, and coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and present proposal estimates, budget reports, and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Direct construction operations based on project specifications.
- Investigate and resolve construction site incidents and delays.
- Negotiate and amend contracts with various stakeholders.
- Implement quality assurance and environmental protection initiatives.
- Communicate plans and contract details to all relevant parties.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost assessments for projects.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction activities.
- Utilize computer models to evaluate construction methods for cost efficiency.
- Supervise construction teams and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve work procedures and construction challenges.
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure project success.
Qualifications-
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction is required.
- Familiarity with industry standards and experience in K-12 education construction.
- Proven experience in the commercial construction sector.
