Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks outlined on the repair order efficiently and in line with service center standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive safety inspections with a focus on customer safety.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Utilize multimedia features on service lane software to document additional recommendations through videos and images.
  • Communicate complex repairs to clients in clear and relatable terms.
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required.
  • Provide estimates for the time needed for extra repairs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • ASE Certification is mandatory.
  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A positive, friendly demeanor, coupled with a customer-centric approach.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • A valid driver's license is essential.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
