Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Spaulding Hospital North Shore. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients with a range of communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to identify communication disorders, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, and prepare reports as required.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in pediatric speech language pathology, and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an ASHA-accredited university program, and licensure in Speech Language Pathology by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Certifications and Skills: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and Expertise: Previous experience working with pediatric patients, and expertise in speech language pathology.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and patient-centered approach.
