Position Summary

This role is pivotal in crafting and implementing sales, service, rental, parts, and OEM market strategies to achieve and sustain a competitive stance within the Heavy Truck Sector.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties
  • Formulate strategic sales initiatives and collaborate with company leadership, parts and service teams, and the Director of Heavy Truck and Port Equipment to secure market positioning.
  • Oversee the growth and activities of the Heavy Truck Sector, including commercial proposals, leasing agreements, service contracts, and customer-facing sales support.
  • Engage with clients, deliver sales presentations, and ensure comprehensive aftermarket support aligned with the company's value proposition.
  • Maintain effective communication with the retail network and all sales support functions.
  • Work in tandem with sales and marketing management to analyze the local Heavy Truck market, gather competitive market intelligence, and devise sales and marketing strategies to bolster regional growth.
  • Coordinate with branch management and internal departments regarding pipeline management, receivables, and allied equipment.
  • Utilize company CRM systems to aggregate specific pipeline, account, and opportunity data.
  • Identify customer application requirements and relay commercial and technical support requests to key OEM partners and suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Heavy Truck and Port Equipment and local sales teams in executing all essential functions.
Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: 8-10 years of demonstrated sales experience in heavy truck or port machinery sectors preferred
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency
Travel Requirements: Significant travel is expected
