Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Associate at ColumbiaCare Services, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with serious mental illness. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions for clients
  • Providing housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration as needed
  • Keeping accurate clinical documentation to ensure seamless continuity of care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A dedication to the well-being of each client and helping them meet their Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
  • The ability to work as a member of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness
  • Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration, which requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field
    • Minimum three years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting
    • Equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training
