Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:
- Conducting routine preventive maintenance on CNC machinery and related equipment to reduce downtime and extend operational life.
- Identifying and resolving mechanical issues with CNC systems, including but not limited to Okuma, Mazak, Matsuura, and Fanuc models.
- Interpreting technical manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
- Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including planning for future tasks.
- Assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Adhering to safety standards and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborating with fellow engineering team members to enhance maintenance practices and protocols.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC maintenance, specifically with Okuma, Mazak, Matsuura, and Fanuc machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with a solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, showcasing strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to following safety protocols and regulations.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Certification or training in CNC maintenance or a related discipline is highly desirable.
