Postdoctoral Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at the Child Mind Institute. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or a related field, and will be responsible for developing and applying advanced neuroimaging techniques to study brain structure and function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine analytic approaches for multimodal data, including functional and structural imaging data, EEG, and eye-tracking.
- Preprocess and analyze functional and diffusion MRI datasets in human and nonhuman primates on high-performance computing infrastructures.
- Develop and evaluate novel approaches to existing state-of-the-art in the field of brain imaging research.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals and assist in grant applications.
- Assist in the supervision of junior research staff.
Requirements:
- Completed PhD in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, mathematics, biophysics, neuropsychology, or related fields.
- Significant prior neuroimaging experience with one or more imaging modalities.
- Strong skills in the usage of common functional neuroimaging packages.
- Strong programming experience in one or more languages.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills, written and oral communication.
