We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our interdisciplinary microbiome research program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The successful candidate will work on developing innovative statistical methods and scalable computational algorithms for analyzing large-scale microbiome data.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and apply novel statistical methods for high-dimensional data analysis
- Collaborate with a closely-knit research team to advance our understanding of microbial associations with patient outcomes
- Design and implement scalable computational algorithms for large-scale data analysis
- Develop accessible software packages for data analysis and visualization
- Doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field
- Experience in high-dimensional data analysis, compositional data, longitudinal/survival data, and mixture modeling
- Experience in high-performance computing systems and/or statistical software development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
