We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at WMCHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care in the field of colorectal surgery.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program and a New York State Physician Assistant License. You will work collaboratively with attending physicians to provide medical management of patients, including assessment, triage, and therapeutic management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide optimal patient care from diagnostic to prognostic matters
  • Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and review orders for diagnostic/therapeutic tests
  • Formulate and manage patient treatment plans, including prescriptions and medications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • New York State Physician Assistant License
  • Experience in clinical working as a PA within the given specialty/service line preferred
