Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex statistical data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Analyze supply chain data using statistical methods and other analytical tools to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory strategies to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on key supply chain processes, performance drivers, and market trends to inform analytical outputs.
  • Process Improvement: Design and implement analytical solutions to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.
  • Data Integration: Integrate disparate data sources to develop and automate analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators and communicate trends effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the supply chain team to understand and prioritize opportunities where data and analytical insights can drive business value.
  • Communication: Summarize analytical findings and make recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Research and Development: Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support corporate strategies and business opportunities.
  • Data Management: Maintain historical data records, organize and file statistical reports, and develop formats for timeline analysis.
  • Database Management: Manage operational databases to ensure data integrity and scalability.
  • Query Development: Develop SQL queries as needed.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure supply chain performance and report to management.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc reporting and supply chain market trending analytics as requested.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting/finance, mathematics, or statistics from a four-year college or university.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and computer skills, advanced use of spreadsheets and databases, proficiency in SQL, Python programming, Power BI, and MS Office.
  • Experience: Understanding of supply chain functions and how they correspond with one another, ability to write reports and business correspondence, and present information effectively.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks that require occasional standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.
