Symbotic is seeking a highly skilled System Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Operations organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our robotic material handling system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot advanced system and operational issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to site teams and customers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Document and report issues to engineering teams, working closely with them to develop solutions.
  • Train and assist operators on system operation, including automated adapters, vertical lifts, and robotic vehicles.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, standardization, and innovation in warehouse automation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of employees and customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or software engineering, computer science, automation engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with automated systems, with a strong background in PLCs, robotics, and software languages.
  • Excellent hands-on experience with assembling, operating, and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high sense of urgency and a willingness to learn new equipment and technologies.
